I like rats way more than mice. (And yes, they are cute. Even the director of "Willard" said so.) But I've had them as pets since I was three and never encountered a wild one, so that might affect my perceptions. ;-)
Sorry for the late replies, been having a series of "fruitful" visists at the dentist's so I've been kinda numb for the past few days (still am, actually). Same reason why I haven't been visiting my favorite comics as of late. Sorry! Aaaanyway...
Vickie: I'm no fan of mice, myself, but while I don't hate them (they're mostly cute, as opposed to rats), I guess I wouldn't be like: oh hey there, little buddy ;)
Brogan: Thanks!
Tantz: Wresting? Don't think so. But he's too little to stomp on it to kill it, too ;)
Nepath: Thanks! Glad to see you back! :)
Loud G: Oh you have no idea ;) I'm snickering evilly (is that a word?) just thinking about what's up next!
Trevor: It was so much fun - and quite easy - to write! I've actually been planning this page for MONTHS (maybe a year, even) - and from the start I imagined it as a story with no dialogue, just narrative, like in The Midwinter Nightmare. Even if it feels a bit odd to make such a change in the middle of a chapter. Oh well :)
Abt: My personal favorite is the sleeping America looking like a mountain - but yes, this comic has been begging for a roach cameo ;) And now, you be a good boy and look for allusions, ok? ;)
Amy: No problem! Been so distracted myself that I lost track of my faves, too :( I'm still yet to read The Compz and Holiday Doctor!
Dawn: Might give it a try, someday - but I'd have to find some other sort of parallels. But I'm a writer, been one for years before I got back to drawing, so it's going to be hard cutting myself off from my favorite way of expression. Oh well, we'll see!
Bocaj: Did it eat her? ;)
Great, great, great, great narrative. Love the part about the "shiny armor" - LOL! :D
For some reason this whole page flows much smoother than the others - probably because I stared at each panel forever, trying to figure out all the hidden allusions. Whereas this time I'm staring at them just for the art itself ;-)
A fairy tale is a fun way to make your narrative different from your previous pages. As always, the artwork is amazing and the textures and coloring are beyond professional looking! Love it!

handled the narrative well.. I think I silent comic may not work as well for you, as you are so good with words!

Oh dear. I like mice, but I think I'd be terribly startled to wake up to one on my chest (or face!)
