Here's our latest AROTD storyline. No more gag strips for a while! This is one I've had in mind for a while. As you can see, around Toni, Jared promises way too much.
These last couple weeks of gag strips were fun, but I really love getting back to a real storyline again. I'm not sure how long this one will last, but expect to see Andrew in a decent-sized role, and I'm going to be bringing Ben back for real this time.

Maybe Jared was unwilling to look Henry in the eyes because he know s he just said something crazy? Heh. Nice job one this one. I laughed!

Wow, okay, hold on a sec Flup. Firstly, thanks to both Gadora and Trevor for reading. Now, I could give you an excuse for Henry's eyes (not Jared's, but Henry's). You see, the complete and utter shock of Jared actually deciding, against all sanity (as you shall learn), to try and do a large construction project like this has just floored him. He's just staring straight ahead in shock, unable to do anything else. :) Jared...nope, I ain't got any excuses for him. That was all CK's fault. :) Thanks for your time though!

*lol* I love the diagram! XDD Yeah, I'm not very good at getting their eyes to go the way I want--still working at perfecting this art style...the eyes were one of th' "big" changes I had made. (However, I AM finally getting the hang of Henry's sideburns!) ^,^ *that's one small success* ^///^

Okay, I have some constructive (hopefully) criticism. In the last panel, Jared and Henry both seem to be looking straight ahead, as if they're staring into space, not at each other.Jared's pupils should be lower in his eyes, because he's looking down, and Henry's dot-pupils should be higher, because he's looking up.

Ha! Awesome! So the majority of my male friends are engineers (of the aerospace/electronic type, not the choo-choo-awesome-hat type), and when there is something really complicated going on that they're involved in (building a 20 foot dragon, moving an entertainment center from one apartment to another), they'll sit around and come up with all the different, logical ways to complete the task - busting out with pen and paper, even! Meanwhile, all the girls have already finished moving/building. /long-windedness. All I was really trying to get to is that Jared strikes me as the paper-pen-planner type.

Please tell me I won't have to draw something that could be passable as a giant 20-foot tall wooden dragon... =_= (I'm gonna, aren't I?) *groan* I'm happy with the way the art came out in this one...the next, not so much...but it's the best I can do. *shrug* =/ (This promises to be fun.) Also, I'd like to try drawing Ben again. :)
