IQ 1000 on Feb. 12, 2008
Yep, it wasn't real after all. If you still have any questions about what the heck just happened just post below (no mutes this time).

This whole 'experiment' could have been achieved by leaving comments and seeing what happens. If this was truly just a joke, i doubt it would have taken you this long to get obvious results. What I mean is this:
Every time an opinion if put out into the open there will be different and similar views on it. And on a site like drunkduck where people hand out 5's like crack... you're going to get negative attention. How could you not already realize this?
(tl;dr)This was trolling, plain and simple.
You are eiether stupid or a bad liar, because eiether way this was a pointless waste of time.

Bocaj: I had two outcomes predicted for this comic: either people would just ignore it altogether, or it would eventually be the most hated thing on this site. Obviously the latter occurred, but at a faster rate than I expected.
Kimhura: The total page-views as of now for this comic is 1020, 550 yesterday, 470 today.
Orange: Bocaj is right, IQ 1000 was just a mask and nothing more. In fact, I already had another comic on this site before I did this that several people enjoyed, including you!

He was putting on a mask...
I'm glad you got your results, but you have yet to say what you decided.
Did you decided that people respected you, or just bashed back.
Both happened, but which more (in your opinion)?

This is rather retarded.
What was the point...to tell us that we can't respect opinions?
Sure we can.
Yer the one who was telling us we're biased when you are, 'cause you're actually reading the comic, lookinh for some stereotype that you can use against it, knowing that you're going to review it for being 'bad'.
Like I've said...rather retarded.

I actually got this idea on a forum dealing with ethics. There was a discussion on which religion was the "true" religion, and one poster stated how he enjoyed his own religion on the post. However, the head moderator of the site "invalidated" the other guy's religion by saying it was corrupted and dismissing it as a cult. When the other poster tried to defend his religion in a later post, the moderator posted something about his religion was the only good one, closed the other posters account, and locked the topic.
The kicker of this was that those two guys had the exact same religion, but instead they came from two different denominations, and the guy with the closed account shared the same religion as me.
As I looked through more of the posts on the forum, virtually any post that the moderator did not agree with he simply posted one last post on why is his opinion was the correct one, he closed the disagreeing poster's account, and finally locked the topic.
Now, this particular forum received a lot of attention, negative attention, but attention none-the-less, and despite the fact this guy was being an arrogant jackass, he still has a right to an opinion, no matter how wrong it may be.
Now I'm not saying that I wasn't acting like a jackass (because I did on purpose), but surely I am entitled to my own opinions no matter how wrong they may be?
This comic wasn't created for the sake of humor, but for the sake of knowledge. Will people be able to respect your opinions no matter how personally they may affect you? Will people actually continually see a comic despite the fact they find it offensive?
I apologize for how insane my reviews might have been, but throughout the course of this incident, I was careful not to swear at anyone or blatantly ripping on people's beliefs. Now before anyone replies with, "but my comics are my beliefs!" I would like to point out a few comics on this site that do the exact same thing that this comic did, except it might not have been that personal to you. For example, there are comics on this site that make jokes on racial, lifestyle, and religious issues. Sure, they aren't as personal as the comic that YOU created, but aren't they both offensive in the same way? Now, those people said that they don't really mean that they hate that particular race, lifestyle, or religion, but instead it was just a joke, but isn't that the exact same thing I'm doing right now?
I'm sorry if you're still offended by my comic, but I would appreciate it if you'd acknowledge that this comic is a message about how far we are really taking freedom of speech, rather than a blatant flame war with the sole purpose of pissing people off.

I feel I spread this comic around so fast. I was the one who sent it to crocty who sent it to most of the others.
I am kind of surprised this is a joke, but in retrospect it makes sense.
I don't regret my actions.

It kinda caved in on itself then folded into a pretzel knot a couple times but he has a point. If a comic is so bad that it becomes infamous it becomes famous all at the same time but not for the same reasons. In any case... it is still somewhat pointless. If a comic is bad leave it at that and move on.
I'll give this guy one thing though, he at least sounded like he knew what he was talking about.

I fail to really see the point of an exercise like this....

:O O MAI!
(ì_ì) I---knew it all along...

I found it strange that someone would put so much care into something like this just to cause trouble. Although it made me unsettled, I'm really glad to see this conclusion. Thanks for stopping it before it got too far, though to be honest, the experiment was kind of messed up in the first place. I'm pretty sure most people already know that angering others always makes a big situation. (But just out of curiosity, how many favorites/ pageviews did you manage to get? xD)
at 5:00AM, Feb. 13, 2008
I thought it was a joke. It's all Crocty's fault I swear.
Good work though I was fooled although a little bit cautious(until I started writing my comment)
Good work with that though
