I'm wondering why a comic needs to be sophisticated? slap-stick humor can be funny, unless someone is too stuck up to class themselves with it. Just because you do not know the video game characters, does not mean you can say nobody has heard of them.
I guess you are entitled to your own opinion... However, I can't really say that your logic here holds up very well. Video games are a multi-billion dollar industry, hence a large amount of people buy them. Nintendo super squad uses mostly iconic video game characters, so it makes sense that a fair amount of people would be able to relate to them. However, even if they couldn't, that wouldn't make it a bad comic. Lack of mass appeal does not equal a lower standard. If you were doing anything other than stating your own (as far as I can see, groundless) opinions, I'm fairly certain that fewer people would be coming here angry.
Uhh...It's supposed to be like that.
He's using his own style of drawing, which isn't a realistic one.
He's purposely changing to characters every panel.
EVERYONE knows that characters.
Bocaj, not everyone has ever heard of these video games, and vulgar themes attribute to potty humor, and potty humor is the lowest form of comedy. I am certain that the plot of the comic will improve if these issues are corrected.
Wow, I don't read Nintendo Super Squad, but I think your arguments have no ground.
I think that comics can work well with VG themes, that vulgar jokes are AOK, and that not drawing characters differently each time is a cool way to experiment art and add humor.
Zheror, I welcome all unbiased criticism, but since you have read "Nintendo Super Squad", your comments are BIASED and therefore invalid.
As I previously stated, I will not argue with people on how I review these comics.
oh shut up. Dude, ever check the comments for NSS?
people know. It's just Mario, Legend of Zelda, Sonic, Metroid Prime and Kirby. What's not to get?
I'm sure you've heard of that. Some of the characters are originals.
and the way they shift

Please, your drawing skills are like crap on a rusty platter.
Let's see you make as successful a comic as Nintendo Super Squad.
and people love old school video games, and are GLAD that someone put them together to create a funny storyline.
