Actually, the "Platinum nightlight corps" is supposed to be a meta-reference to webcomic artists/creators in general. The word "platinum" is a reference to Drunk Duck's owner: Platinum studios. In fact, each "aspect" of the different corps is supposed to be a vague reference to different reasons or qualities that might inspire a person to make a webcomic. With the exception of "un-death" which I just thought would be a funny jab at the frequent resurrections in comic books.
