Responce time:
I hate dirt: Thanks fer the 5.
Jim: Yes the mother and child in Toshubi's thought bubble on the page titled, "Thanks for nothing" are his deceased wife (Kasumi)and son (Pojo). The other image of the mouse being whipped is Toshubi.
MagicMaker: I'm glad you're back.
Kali: Are you sure? :P
Jim: Yes I've got a four year old daughter that I get to see every other weekend... for now.
Jim: Doh! You caught me! Yes I photocopied those two frames.
Dockworker: Tissues are on the coffee table.
Raziel: It gets better.
Kali: I can't say I've seen it. What's it about?
Sakura: Sounds like she's abusing her powers.
Morgan: Thanks fer the 5.
Duck of Anime: They've both got life lessons before them.
Draco: You can say that again.
Valavor: None of those answers are correct! She will become a traveling circus performer!!!
Freakeh: I've been drawing too many depressing pages I know. Toshubi doesn't like the idea of leaving her at an orphanage, but he believes it's got to be safer than being with him.
Glass Ink: Thanks fer the 5.
Dragonki: Thanks fer the 5.
Hogan: But that power should only be used for good.
Sandy: Thanks! I'll keep you in mind when Toshubi has to go "comic hopping" later in the story. (Yes Toshubi will be jumping from comic to comic later in the story. Hogan's gonna hate me.)
Mimarin: Ninja cowlet. Now there's two words I never thought i'd see in the same sentance.
Draco: You can see the future, can't you?
Tinkerbell: Everyone's chanting along with MagicalM!
Ickus: Good observation! You've really gotten to know Toshubi and Jessica. Jessica is going to become Toshubi's emotional "counter weight".
Marl: (Really bad Arnold Swartzineger impression) DO IT! DO IT NOW!
MagicalM: Just call him, Mr. Myagi. (Wax on... Wax off.)
AnimeGal: After the toshubi has melted, we add a little cheddar cheese and some bacon bits. Bring this mix to a boil and....
Tea Green: Yeah, she really doesn't want to be left alone.
Sorry for a third comment but, i just went back through the comic to get some more details and i noticed when Toshubi has his dream his wife and son were in the fire then i looked up a couple pages and saw when Toshubi couldnt understand Betsy and i noticed his back covered with scars then on chapter 2 page 5 he had his think bubble with a mother and child and a person being whipped, Could this be Toshubi Getting whiped and his Wife and his kid in it?
either your super good at making a picture look exactly the same or you copied the picture on 4 and 5 of jessica and betsy but if you did make the picture without copying it
IM IMPRESSED!!!! 55555!!!
I love the expressions on this page. It's very emotional and the contrasting expressions really emphasise that ):
I respect Toshubi's strength for even lasting -this- long... I would've broken down at hearing myself say "orphanage". I admire that he can still think rationally about what would be best for Jessica's -future- rather than letting sadness overwhelm him about her -present-.
Great job on this page. Love the drama too. I could see us doing a little cross over work in the future. Those felines would definitely get their tail ends fried if Toshubi had Blaze helping him out.
I think they tap into that fatherly protective instinct. He does have a good point about his enimies, but I think Jessica has more potential than he realizes. I also think that having her along will help him keep his own situation in better prespective.

Yep, Jessica has the power of children, especially girls... and who can fight against that? No I, not Toshubi...

"Take her along and teach her the ways of the ninja!" Quoted for truth. =) Do it, Toshubi. DO IT! ^_^
