Heeeeey everybody!
Many apologies for the missed update/late update today, last week I was in another state attending A-Kon! It was a real blast and I met some great people, fun times were had! As such, I couldn't work on the comic page until we got back, and believe me as great as it was to travel by train I was not getting good drawings out during the trip. I was hoping to do a double-page to make up for lost time, but I may do that next week if I can.

Yup, indeed I was! We were right across from the sign that said "A-Kon guests" in the Artist Alley/Webcomics area. Haha, I might have seen you when I was wandering around, but I spent most of the con being shy! I was a little overwhelmed by all the people there. :) And yes, I'd love to use that guy! I was gonna ask, but then I procrastinated... but yes I'm glad you mentioned him because I totally want to! :D

Whoa, whoa, whoa, you were at A-Kon?! I wish I'd known! Did you happen to see a Dragonball GT pedo-stache Vegeta or a Trunks? If so, that was me and my friend. If you saw the "baby" in the window of the Marriott, that was our room. It was actually a baby doll my friend had made to look like baby Trunks. With a properly balanced knife you can quite easily spin it in the palm of your hand... with practice. I take it his knife isn't simply ornamental.

@Razzy Jazz: Yeah, it's mostly genetic. Daray's family had purple/blue horns, for example.

@Jimeth and Kou the Mad: Oh, we'll see how he missed all that on the next page :D @Julien Brightside: Hm, I should have indicated better that was a harsh whisper (but photoshop kinda sucks for stroke effects on vectors) it was more of a perfunctory response to seeing so many people. Sometimes, you just say things out loud that you didn't mean to! Perhaps i should fade the balloon a little... Kellmaster: Indeed! I even practiced with the knife this was based on to see how quickly one could switch to offensive, it's a pretty heavy knife and dangerous on both ends. I probably could have done some more motion effects to make it more obvious that it was intentional, but the page was late and I figured it's good enough as is. :) Jackelopefan: An admirer since she's not much older than Daray, most of the village girls were Darryn fangirls. :)
