Io and MM—one from a superior culture, the other with a superior mind—the dialogue practically wrote itself. Add to that Ida's delightful art, Dasien snickering, and MM's “Wonderful” and this makes my second-favorite page so far.
This ends Chapter 1. Next week I'm doing the art chores (I know, I know…Ida's a tough act to follow) as the three arrive at their initial destination and meet with Lightbringer. (Dead Debbie will be meeting the others soon after that, I promise.) Plus a LOT of name-dropping and the occasional quick cameo, all with permission of their creators…
Love the clash of minds between Io and MM. IMO panel three was the best, seeing MM looking shocked. Never seen that before. And Lisa is uber-kawaii as usual.
Well off course Lisa speaks English! It's obligatory for her at school, and with the number of Anime's she will have seen (only lately has some anime been dubbed with Danish voiceovers), she's bound to have picked up a lot :P
... though it will become interesting to see how far her vocabulary goes, except for when making up names for her special moves and attacks ;)
Alo... the exchange between MM and Io is hilarious, especially seeing MM frustrated saves the day :D
