Here's strip 54 of Dude in Distress, and Clark decides honesty is the best bet for the date. Is he correct?
Sorry for taking the last week off (actually, I've been trying to get caught up with my comic work and not really taking time off). If anyone's interested in the craziness that ended my 2017 and caused me to get behind, I posted a brief explanation (free to read) over at my Patreon page (https://www.patreon.com/EssayBee ).

I had a character in City of Heroes where one RP plotline was her trying to have a normal date. Zombies attacked during one. At one point her entire hero team wrecked themselves trying vainly to keep villains at bay.

Point being, normal dates, for a super, are exactly what's needed.

Being normal is still awesome.

This must be novel to her...

Sometimes the most exciting thing on a date is doing normal boring things; especially for a super.

She never has to worry about a date getting too boring. If that ever happens, the Gods of Plot will make sure there is a supervillain attack or something right in the middle.
