Here's page 24 of Fusion #5. Only one page left to go in this issue, so look for this issue to wrap up next update. The geography of the Dual Cities Megalopolis will be explained next issue, for those wondering about city names. Basically (and this really isn't a spoiler), Fusion operates in what is called the Dual Cities Megalopolis composed of the two neighboring metropolises of Monstro City (where the comic has taken place so far) and Atro City. More will be explained next issue.

Point being, don't worry too much about who's patterned after who. Just enjoy the show.

Actually, I hadn't seen any real comparison between Riveter and Wonder Woman except that they're both women. She seems more a Steel/Iron Man equivalent. Keep in mind however, it's relatively difficult to come up with new concepts in comics that don't have at least superficial resemblance to other characters. Even X-Pletive could probably be compared to a character somewhere else if you looked hard enough.

Riviter is Wonder Woman/Iron Man, but Stupendous & Brooder seem to be only based on their DC counterparts w/o any Marvel guys mixed in.

Dark Rose--No real-world cities, but they are thematically modeled on Metropolis and Gotham.

What I meant to say is,if Essaybee would take particular cities (i.e.New York,Chicago, etc.)and use them as the basis for Atro City and Monstro City.

Escutcheon--Glad you like the city names, and you're right: Atro City is indeed atrocious compared with Monstro City.

Hi there! Love what you're doing with your story and designs. One thing that I'm a little curious about though- Judging by the city names (which I love, by the way), I am quite curious to find out if Atro City is significantly darker than Monstro.

Re: Anagrams. Is Taro or Tora a city? I think Tora is bull.

I take it Riveter is the closest thing to Wonder Woman in Fusion's reality?

Dark Rose at 4:26AM, April 3, 2012
Will those cities mentioned be an anagram of any real world city?
jamoecw at 3:46AM, April 3, 2012
not sure how telling him will cause problems, he has probably figured out that she would want to keep tabs on such things after the last incident.
