Edward Van-Isaac Lord Editorial

The next page is proving to be a beast (darn city-scapes), and with the holiday last week and going away this past weekend, I didn't have as much time to devote to the page and I thought I'd have to miss an update. Luckily, Savunn came to the rescue, and she sent me this full-page editorial that Edward Lord took out in various newspapers after Major Power's introduction. This was one of the many PR moves that Lord made to restore public trust.

jamoecw--Don't you just love spin?
jamoecw at 9:29PM, July 10, 2012
well that's a whole lot of nothing, lord industries has made a rather long winded acceptance of some mistake, doesn't admit really as to what the mistake is exactly, but they know they made one.

Ironically, this makes me distrust him even more.

Oruncrest--Yeah, a lot of times those full-page "editorials" in newspapers are basically just spin from various interest groups/companies. Plus, Lord owns significant portions (not always a controlling interest) in a number of news outlets.

That's not an editorial, that's practically an ENDORSEMENT! I don't know if Eddie's a MAGNIFICENT Bastard, but he's sure as heck a CHEAP one!
