Fusion #7 Page 21

Here's page 21 of Fusion #7, and we return to Savunn's home. Looks like she'll get to make good on her date with Shane after all–and he even brought food as he had promised when Savunn got side-tracked earlier. And it seems Darmar is in the news yet again. (For more on Darmar, see Issue #6 and Psy-Girl's brief mention of the country in Issue #4.)

Great detail on the 1st panel.

jamoecw--Well, the front room (the red room Savunn and Shane walked through in panel 3 and, looking at the house in panel 1, its the room with the windows to the right of the front door) is what she calls the living room; the lavender room with the TV she calls the TV room (and occupies the back, right quarter of the house, just beyond the living room). From the beginning of the issue, we can see that the back, left quarter is the kitchen (so the front, left quarter would be the dining room). There's also a 3/4 bath in the hallway between the kitchen and TV room (and across from the doorway to the basement, which is under the main stairs in the middle of the house).

ham and jalepenos? that's crazy food, like hawaiian pizza, canadian bacon and pineapple. what's up with darn canadians and their special foods, like the french and their fries and toast, we americans should come up with our own version of fries, maybe call them freedom fries or something, i'm sure we could even do it better, and use our powers of innovation to improve on the concept instead of just ripping off the french. we should come up with our own frankfurters too while we're at it, maybe call them something cool like hot dogs, and change them to reflect that our country isn't as artificial and mechanized. these ramblings brought to you by jamoecw: if it isn't jamoecw, then it isn't jamoecw. p.s. we say living room instead of tv room (it is in america right?)

I think the artwork was better in the older Fusion comics. The lines seem a bit thick now, not as pretty.

giovanni--Alanna was introduced back in Issue #1 (she interviewed Fusion). We saw her again (and in Darmar, no less) at the beginning of Issue #6. I think I'll post one of her print interviews after this issue.

Don't know why, But I have this weird feeling that this page needs some "dun dun DUN" music in it somewhere.
