Hmm… my days are so QUIET it seems when I don't have my twice a week hectic posting schedule. Not just the posting part, but the fact that I know if I don't turn out two pages a week, I'll fall horribly behind… etc… So, its been almost a little too low stress, and I'm ready to get back in the groove again, so to speak, but that's a bit off, so, I digress…
This story kind of marked a turning point for me art-wise, I believe. It was my goal to sort of really step it up since it was for publication only (I felt I could justify shortcuts more on long a long running webcomic, where time was of the essence, here quality reigns supreme). So I felt there was a noticeable difference, and I think, too, you saw a difference in Mastorism. I pretty much drew this around the transition from Chapter 4 to Chapter 5, if that's any indication. Anyhow, I feel I improve with every page, BUT, this work, I think was a significant jump.
A couple of my all-time favorite panels here… Hope you enjoy this page.
On the Mastorism front, taking a different approach, I'm actually scripting out a lot of the new story. Previously, a large portion of my scripting took place in the layout phase. This time it's looking like I'm going to script the majority of it out first and then build pages from there. That said, I'm just scripting away without regard for panels or pages, so I have no idea how to tell you how many pages I have done, but I'd say several at this point. The story has been with me for quite some time, but I fell that its growing pretty organically as I write it, and I like where its going. So, more on that as it develops.
NEXT week: More Explosion Proof, of course, and the following week, this story concludes already! WOAH!

Great camera angle in that first panel. Seriously. It's difficult to get that slight body foreshortening.
