113. Mouse Sense
usedbooks on March 13, 2011
I made some headway with Used Books, and I got an idea for a Gelotology gag this week, so here's a strip.
Some animals are sensitive to thunderstorm conditions because it gives them frizzie hair (just like us). Also, cows graze facing the wind (maybe to catch the scent of predators?), so they can “predict” weather the way a weather vane does. There are some animals that take cover shortly before volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tornadoes, or other devastating events. These animals don't necessarily have additional senses or even better senses than humans, just a different spectrum that they can pick up on. (Like elephants can hear particularly low frequencies but not high ones.)

Whenever my cat gets skittish, I always get excited at the thought of a thunderstorm... alas, it's usually just strong winds.

@Warped: Inspiration must come from somewhere. @smkinoshita: Where did they get the tiny suitcases? Tiny Sears. @Nerd Fury: It means they don't have the right lips for saxophone. @aquapermanence: But alas! Mice have no thumbs!

I gave this page a 5, but it deserves a 42.

Ok, but what does it mean when my dogs are trying to play the tuba....?

Y'know, I'd be more curious about where they got the tiny suitcases from. "Have you been giving the rats tiny suitcases?" "YES! For my tiny suitcase experiment! I'm running an experiment that mimics airport security on a rat level,"
