As you can imagine, Island Records, U2's label, sued the pants off of Negativland, destroying the band, and leaving the musicians financially ruined. I was following this case closely back in 1992, and it added to my already considerable dislike of U2's music.

Wow, interesting history there and really sad to hear a potentially good group were ruined in such a horrible way.

I gotta get me a Richard Nixon hood ornament! I love the limo design; it'd look like it's going fast even when it's sitting still.

Yeah, somehow Nixon's face makes a great hood ornament. As for that cover of U2, five minutes of my life I will never get back. But I can be a bit of a sadist at times.
