Edit 10-23-15) Updated the slot machine interface to the modern style I originally wanted to give it.
tupapayon, KimLuster) The only time I've ever been to a karaoke bar where all the singers were really good was in Vegas. In Milwaukee where I used to do karaoke I was generally one of the better performers, but in Vegas I was easily the worst one that night.
Panel 1 is on my redraw list – I wanted to give it a video slot look but I ran out of time. And I've been feeling terrible this week x_x
I've mostly been listening to “Wolfgang's Big Night Out” by the Brian Setzer Orchestra for this scene, particularly "Here Comes the Broad“

I love karaoke, and can barely sing... I often do alternate versions of songs.

Yeah, Karaoke can be fun in a train-wreck watching sort of way! Really hard to do (without hamming it up and sorta making fun of it while doing it) if you've ever been involved in music in a 'real' way (singing and/or playing instrument in a band)... Anyway, another lovely page - very good expressions!
