This page has been brought to you in part by varying shades of green. Green, making life easier on people who can't draw backgrounds to save their soul since the dawn of time.
Actually I have no idea how many people use the color green to cut corners, I just find that putting my characters on a scenic path between the parking lot and school makes things much easier to draw. Characters, after all, are the only thing I regularly practice drawing, and while that might seem like a stupid idea the alternative would be having mediocre characters on a mediocre background instead of good characters on a crap background. Since this comic is all about the characters, I find the latter highly preferable.
Speaking of characters…
What I was going for with Cassie was a girl who is attractive, even though it seems like she shouldn't be. I think I succeeded, but that's your call, not mine. Her design is heavily based off one I submitted to the Ponzi Create Your Own Neosinner contest. After I sent her off I realized I liked her so much that I wanted her in the comic. I'm almost glad I didn't win, because then there would be two Cassies running around DD, and that could get confusing.
Roger is the character I mentioned in my previous note who could be considered alongside Grace to be the main character. You'll have to decide for yourself which one that title goes to, because even I don't know. I don't think not knowing will have any effect on the story however.
This page was a lot more fun than the last one because there was a lot more drawing characters and a lot less drawing scenery and *gulp* car details. It still took forever though. I need to figure out how to streamline this process before I hit college. I want to be able to upload at least once a week, but I don't have a buffer because I'm so impatient that if I had one I'd just upload it anyway. I think I need to work on memorizing the hotkeys for the tools I use most. That ought to cut time down.

Took me a second to catch that panel flow (reading it at work)...nice dialogue once I caught it, though.

Ah yes, good memories with this page. I still think you need to outline Cassie's qui (ponytail) before you draw it.

Actually I think Roger came out too thick, not Cassie too thin, but other than that you're pretty much spot-on. Thanks for the help! :) And now I know I definitely need to upload some of the originals. It blows my mind how far I've come in 5 months. If you had told me then that I could draw like this in 5 months I would have laughed in your face.

I would say that in the second to last panel, the lines under the chin and other lines were drawn in a fashion that... GAH ah screw it... they are too big. lol. As a matter of fact, perhaps all the lines representing chins, sides of faces, etc. should be a lot smaller. I am not sure how that will look, I can only say that the lines look too big. I like this one a lot. I like how you use the reddish orange int he second panel to create a sense of anger. I also like the boobs. WELL DONE. HOORAY FOR NIPPLES AND BOOBIES. They are really great. I especially like the one in the last panel. It's very realistic. Roger is really well drawn. I notice you have a little trouble with the hugging in this scene. Cassie is waaaay too skinny there. So just giving you some legitimate critique. I actually like the background. Excellent. Seems like your first character drawing months ago went through multiple mutations and crawled onto land. lol.
