YIKES! HUGE STORM IN MY CITY!!
Replies:
second wind: it was the last look at Mark indeed!
darkpower: hahahaa like GABO!! that would have been funny
Kris: I'm glad you liked it. You know the liquid latex actually makes the process a lot easier :D I tried using the computer for my comic, but I went with traditional because I already spend a lot of time working with the computer and my eyes are really tired of it. I'm sure you know that doing the comic with the computer ain't no picnic ;)
nergal: thanks bro! Mark had something in his sleeve, too bad his hands were tied, haha. First time they told me I could use latex with my watercolors I went like “WHAT? this disgusting smelly gum? YIKES!”
darrell: as I said to vicky, my weird chars have many magical tricks in their sleeves, that's all.
vixie: I don't know if celebrate my milestone on the official page number (currently page 82) or the total number of pages (currently 95) mostly because I don't know if this story is gonna reach page number 100 O_O !!
tantz: and you were right, here it is mark blowing up >:)
alejkhan: awww that sounds so cute, having an artist grandfather :) if it smelled really awful it sure was liquid latex :D I've seen it in artistic stores, but I bought it from an FX store. It is also used to simulate human skin in low budget movies and halloween masks, hehe. Did your grandpa make a living from his paintings?
vicky: hehehe well I used that “trick” of mind reading before, in page 28 and in page 6. Have in mind that my weird characters might pull several tricks from their sleeves, they are sort of magical.

Geez, on the spot advertising and product placement. No wonder he's the boss.

"Tired of having a monster for a boss?" Yes. Yes, I am. Can I leave now? I mean, leave and still get paid?

Hahaha, Mr.Advertisings expressions are the best in this issue. Also, it's neat how the book is the colour of clothes Mark was wearing. I SEE ALLLLL!!!
Nergal at 11:22AM, Jan. 12, 2008
hmm if my brain turned into a book it definitely wouldn't have been that thick. It'd probably be a pop-up... very cool looking page. For such a simple little guy, Mr. Adv's expressions are brilliant.

Mr. Advertising totally pulled a SHOOP DA WHOOP on Mark.
Tantz_Aerine at 6:02AM, Jan. 10, 2008
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bring Mark back! Or at least mail him to me! XD
darrell at 5:58AM, Jan. 10, 2008
That was rather unexpected... Cool! :)

But Mark need brain for smart making! Love the use of green. But I'm biased as green is my favourite colour. If it were up to me everything would be green. Man, I think today's extreme heat has melted my brainmeats.
alejkhan at 11:10PM, Jan. 9, 2008
A book!? That was not what I was thinking would happen to him. But I guess this is something that fits with his character. So in retrospect becoming a book makes sense.... Man, for his sake I hope he becomes a popular best seller so he can gain some kind of immortality. Now that you have this liquid latex you should make a sculpture or mask of the Locomas! Or Mr. Advert even! If you can tolerate the smell. I hope you are wearing some sort of protective mask when you use it. As for my grandfather, he just did watercolor landscapes for fun, as far as I can tell. Lots of nature stuff that coincided with his lifestyle of canoing, cross country skiing, hunting, etc. I don't know if he still paints much these days.

lol. You kinda expect unexpected things from non-human characters. Poor Mark. That's what he gets for having convictions and character. I guess Paula and/or the Locomas are going to have to regroup and pull some heroism.
