Prelude Page 5 - Tossing Out the Trash

Actually took me awhile to find this page. The file I had on my main computer was corrupt. In fact, two file versions (AI and TIFF) of this page were corrupt. Luckily, I had back-up discs.
Lesson learned awhile ago. Save-save-save. I've lost some important files, hours of work, in the past because I didn't save them further than the original hard drive. Now I save on cd, ftp, even gmail can store info. I'm about to start saving on blu-ray discs, since my new laptop allows it. A double-sided blu-ray can hold 50 gigs. Granted the discs will be limited to just my laptop.

Phew! When you can pull a page as good as this back out of the fire, all that "belt and braces" stuff suddenly seems so worthwhile!

A 50 gig RW blu-ray disc can be up to over $50. Was able to buy my Dell laptop on credit. Now I have a year to pay it off before I get hit with a year's worth of finance charges.

Ooohh cool! Looks like he's proclaimed himself the leader. And I doubt anyone will argue. I have 2 hard drives on 2 computers I keep original PSDs of. And I save my jpgs on CDs on occasion. I bet those blue ray burners and discs are expensive!
