@Ron for the record I will put you saying "only a little off track" in my mental filing cabinet... As in that flower will play a part in those upcoming events but don't have enough to figure out how, it could be a form of power buff but i doubt its that simple, while Lana most probably has the power to raise an army comparable (but not matching) that of her mentor she'd likely need more to secure the area of Manhattan, unless that is she could isolate where the bone puppets are being controlled from, though to be honest its likely either of high elf, priesthood, or angelic design thats not to say it isn't an unknown but the high elves held Lana captive and probably know of her power, the priesthood would think of ONY as the most evil place on/around Terra, and the Angles based on not only them hindering them from getting there the first time, but their anti-necromancer type response to CT's dieing words leads me to believe their greatest fear is a necromancer and this is them preparing

@Ron I still can't believe that story arch slipped my mind guess that all the meddling "Gramps" has done in PH (for instance supped up defensive spells, Elvina, (potentially putting something of significance on the joss letter), (also potentially having something indirectly to do with the bug), naming Lan heir before telling him, leading them (also indirectly) to the ruins, the party ticket for saving Lan's life, most probably dropping Walter a clue as to who would take Lan in, probably arranging him to meet Dido, possibly teaching him (directly or indirectly) a few ancient curses, the acorn, the elder pooka, the Egypt sub-arch, sparing Boo) lead me to be highly suspicious of all of his actions ESPECIALLY that token of patronage to the point that Old NY slipped my mind...

I think she technically has been Queen for quite a while actually as far back as her first visit to hell or more precisely this page here http://www.theduckwebcomics.com/public_humiliation/5175675/ if I'm correct, that flower was MUCH more then a token of patronage, if you look at the symbolism of the flowers and hell, you get a very clear reference to Persephone goddess of flowers and queen of the underworld.
