#darius drake all of that is quite true, but being used to dangerous situations doesn't mean they are not dangerous. consider the no net highwire artists, the flying wallendas. even after years of performing regularly, even their most experienced member eventually made a fatal misstep and took some of the others (it was a human pyramid walk) with him. and overconfidence is a very common failure mode.

For those who want to know, I decided that order because of the following: Moonlore & Lil Alfred have pre-comic history of living in warzones. Robert has gone through so many dangerous situations that he's developed a "danger sense". Lana has been hunted for being a Necromancer, AND bounced back from torture fairly quickly. Windstar & Stewart have been trained to, and have entered dangerous situations on a number of occassions. Cleat grew up on a boat in an ocean based world, thus he was raised with piracy being a real, and likely, thing to happen. Fox Fur grew up subjected to publicly accepted racism. Finally, Cory, obviously, brings up the rear by being protected to the degree that she thinks that learning how to fight is pointless.

@ Clem: You seem to have forgotten, Cory's could easily be said to be the one who's LEAST used to serious and dangerous situations. Those who are the most used to these types of situations are, in order (in my mind, anyway), "Druid" (Moonlore), Lil Alfred, "Battle Bear" (Robert), "Death's Daughter" (Lana), "Dragon Girl" (Windstar & Stewart), "Tech Support" (Cleat), "Doc" (Fox Fur) and then, bringing up the rear at a severe distance, "Spoil Sport" (Cory).
