It also makes sense that she is more telepathic than other riders, she already was an empath, which is a weaker form of telepathy, we don't know if she received any telepathy from her hands, and because riders automatically become telepaths, it stands to reason it could have made her like Warmwind in sensitivity..

It makes sense for Foxfur to be chosen to be a rider, when intelligent dragons are used in fiction save some of the inherently aggressive ones, virtually all of them see the choice to fight when faced with almost certain death in the highest regards especially if it's to save others, which brings another high honor action up, protecting one or more of their own. Stew's statement about how they are embarrassed that she was put in that situation by a dragon reflects that
