I have got to wonder, the Paladins of Boat's old order haven't shown their faces in a while, and we know they sent the techno-dwarves, obviously as cannon fodder, but they would want to ensure that they cripple the layer, at least a bit, so where are they?

Foxfur, Star and Stew all have the firepower to take out that Zep, but that would only be the start of the problem, the Zep itself is likely just a facade, those Dwarves are tinkerers after all, and relatively recently they received a large amount of advanced technology to play with in the form of leftovers from the Crossover Wars, the Institute couldn't have been the only group to want to reverse engineer EOU technology on Terra, and that would explain why the only intact EOU fighter brought to the institute was the one Robert found, one would think that someone would at least try to camblize one to repair another

This could be how the assassins plan to get close to Vorn, fake injury until they reach the infirmary, or alternatively get injured and wait for the healing. This is of course assuming that they will be dealing with the same rogues that used Flit and her brother as a distraction. The techno-dwarves have likely advanced themselves since their last defeat, probably by adapting the same technology that caused it to their advantage. So in order to defeat them they will have to use other means. The lair has enough firepower to hold them off, but they are resilient and formidable, they wore out the original institute teams and had nearly beat them, if Sharpbeak hadn't leveled they would have been successful. I wouldn't be surprised if they were protected against emps, and to an extent, fire, specifically for this attack.
