10 - Claire (Prototype)

A rare one. A koala of which I got a fairly far developed design, yet without background story. Usually I can immediately suck something out of my fingers before the design is even done yet. With her however, I don't really know where to go… She's definetely one of the more »colorful« (heh) characters; tomboyish, brave, going through the wall head first, loyal beyond comparison to anyone she considers a friend. And now to give her a story… Ahem, lunch break!

This sketch (the first concept) still bears the title »Prototype« ‘cause I need to find another color for her mittens. I disapprove of the yellow. Btw, the white ears and belly, as opposed to Barby from the Archie comics, don’t mean she's an albino. She's just fully white. Go figure out yourself why.
