Adie's mum loves Whitby. To be fair it's quite a nice place, although it's bloody cold.

Gail's badly drawn hat will feature a fair bit more this chapter as it is uniform. Also, observant readers may have noticed that Al has changed from his jumper to his stab vest. Knife crime is a problem in the UK and officers are meant to wear their stab vests, if this were a proper police story then Al would have been disciplined for not wearing it on earlier call-outs.
