[13] I need you

I actually enjoyed working on Fern's community project a lot so I was trying to make another. I think too much thinking kind of ruin things though. I like the concept that I did for this and the one that appeared yesterday but I think it could have been executed better.

I say this because the whole community project sounded like something my art profs would have given. It used to drive us art students crazy how vague the projects could be. It meant we could do anything but not everything at the same time. So yeah, enjoyed it lots. :)

I think if this was done on better paper and was more elaborate it would have been nice. It could be a performance piece. Something bigger and more elaborate and then I set it on fire.

This is a very vague coincidence but part of the reason why I decided to start up Paper Birds again was because of a second year art project I had to do. I was cleaning and uncovered the daily sketches I had to do for my Drawing professor. I did all of them on cue cards since I'm pretty fond of them so I was flipping through them and decided I should take it up again. And now I'm here.

As I said, I'm rather fond of cue cards. They're cheap (a dollar for 100), disposable, portable, and is blank one side, lined on the other. You can write on them or draw on them. They're also a nice thickness…not too light and fragile like newsprint. But not too firm and unyielding like canvas board. Perfect for disposable sketches and messy notes.
