To be fair though, the actual game also seems to try to go back to the start of their respective games. Y'know, what with Akihiko being obsessed over fighting again, Mitsuru wearing a outfit that just screams "I'm the rich one here" and pretty much the entire P4 cast (save Kanji, somehow) having to relearn the lessons they were supposed to have learned in the game proper, I'd say the entire game is pretty backwards, really.
