010 How to Get Rid of a Telemarketer
Sei on Feb. 13, 2009
I've been tricked before by telemarketers when they say: “oh, it'll only be a couple of minutes,”- more like HALF AN HOUR. -_-
So when my bro did this, I found it a bit karmic…
EDIT: Oh, I just noticed my typo, it's been corrected.

Heh! This comic looks like loads of fun. I don't play well with telemarketers, either

LOL, I'll keep that in mind 6497315 ;). I've only seen a few eps of Seinfeld. That show is truly random.

Yes SquishyNinja, I had to learn the hard way :/. I usually screen my calls and avoid anything that's a 1-800 number. If I do happen to answer one of their calls, I usually tell them I'm not interested. Supposedly there's a law about telemarketers calling you around dinner time where they'd get fined if they do? And something about, you can call this number to have your number removed and if they end up calling you, it's like a thousand-something charge? Or something and something.

Do what Seinfeld did. WHen the telemarketer called, he said "Oh, that sounds really interesting! Sadly, I'm very busy right now. How about you give me your home phone number and we can discuss your product at a different time." "Uh... sorry, sir, I cant give you that information." "Oh, I see. You mean you dont want to be disturbed at your home?" "No, sir." "Well then. NOW YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL!" *click*

I almost never answer telemarketers. The only time I did, as soon as I answered, I yelled "WE DON'T WANT ANY!!" and then hung up.
