@Mina_Lunga: One thing I think I want to improve on is showing the reader more 'camera' work. I'm also going to be introducing a new mechanic into the story eventually. That way it's a little more clear when the characters know they're being watched and when they think they're 'off camera'.

@Darls Chickens: Hydro has face paint instead of a mask; it's been lost and he's not had the chance to get it back, nor can he undo what Cursive did to his hair. As to the energy halo, yes -- but in this case it's because it's a synergy with Cursive, although his eyes will glow normally when his power is in use. I think I did it more subtly before.

Will Hydro ever recover his mask? Am I seeing his energy halo, or has he cocooned himself in a water sheath? Can he fly with that? He should try. (Grace looks doggone good powered up.)

Potent? Against a Ninja? Okay, sure, it'll work against Cat and her group, but Skully's Ninja Training gives her a +5 bonus to working in the dark.
