It was Larya calling Searsha out of her short reverie. This sequence happens a few minutes before Glorianna arrives at Falkimir's headquarters for her scribe duties. Originally it happened after, but it makes more sense the rank and file would be up clearing the battlefield before the nobles had their meeting.

Now who was Searsha looking at last page? Aleeka who first appeared in the last scene before last. And now she tells Larya she no longer shares Halfdan's bed. And Larya is offering her bed in compensation. “Lover's Pillow” is a poetic euphemism for the breast. John Adams was fond of using it in his correspondence with Abigail. Larya's “lover's pillow” is probably much more comfy than Halfdan's manly pecs.

The two sorceresses notice Glorianna and she notices them and just what is she hiding?

Now the meeting of the clergy of the islands was mentioned last scene, and now Larya mentions it was convened last night. Well how can a meeting of clergy from all over the land be called in a time before video conferencing? Magic. It may not be explained in the story as it's one of those things taken for granted in the world like we take telephones for granted. Clergy and sorceresses can talk to each other any time they want instantly. Mysteries of magic. You have to send a letter by messenger and wait weeks for a reply, they can look in a glass and talk fact to face. Well, their business requires such convenience. :)

And we find out the name of the Witch of Ashrack. Glorreaka. Now if Glorianna is “glory Annah” as in Glory of the goddess Annah, what is Glorreaka? Glory of Reaka? Fresreaka to be precise.
