Jib and jab, the back and forth banter of the two BFF/lovers continues. You see Searsha is high maintenance. Larya is willing to do it and to help out Searsha in spite of herself. How did we segue from Glorreaka to Searsha's claw? That's explained later. It is something that the characters take for granted that the reader doesn't necessarily need to know yet. But in some way the two are related and maybe not how you would think.
Originally the dialogue explained Aleeka's parentage outright. But again there is no need on page 41. She is half-Norse and leave it at that. It's gone over in detail later on in a couple of flashbacks that really flesh out her character. Originally, she was just sort of there as a foil to Searsha but then a whole backstory emerged as I wrote an afterward and started a sequel to this.
And I just discovered that a secondary character's figure was scrapped so she will have to be recast and that means even further re-editing to upcoming scenes. At last count some five characters have had their designs changed over the course of the long production of this thing. The rest were inventoried over the weekend and this one turned up without the head she had in the story, so another figure will have to be substituted. But then I wasn't crazy about the original figure anyway.
Once again great work on the expressions - they speak as much as the words do!! How much can Searsha actually use the claw? Is it just a weapon, or can she use it similar to a real hand? If the latter, I might be tempted to keep it too (a weapon you can't drop, plus a sweet name appendage)! Plus that 'reminder' thing...

Uh-oh. Play nice now, ladies! With all the bed sharing going on, these scenarios must play out quite often.

Searsha may hold grudges longer than most.

I swear I heard a "clunk!" sound effect in my head as I read panel 2.

It is a bit more than a weapon. She can pick her teeth and comb her hair with it too.

A claw would come in "handy" for some things. Long as it weren't your wrightin' hand.

As seen later it has a few attachments. She could stick a pen in it.
