Wow, Twitter has surprised me big time. The response was amazing. I was not expecting to get so many additional likes! But there they are. The comic will update once a week to give me time to properly prepare for the resumption of full production and so I can sneak in a couple of other projects over at Belle's Best
Sword of Kings is my attempt at something a bit more high brow then silly damsel in distress B-movie parody comic(which even features occasional guest appearances from the MST3K folks to riff on the movie if a page is playing too straight)
However, Sword of Kings is the epic.
Earlier many noticed that the sorceresses avoided speaking the name of the evil goddess of dark magic or her primary servant the Witch of Ashrack. Here in their first face-to-face meeting Glorianna breaks the taboo at the taunting of Glorreaka (GLOR-reak-a)Also on this oage we find out that their battle is taking place on another plain not visible to normal observers. And Alemir is still trying to get his cousin to hook up with Glorianna with some resulting ironic thoughts.
The new figure playing Elsa went in pretty seamlessly and so far she's shown a more character than the old one did. The figure is more buxom as well so the outfit comes of as more sexy. Alemir mentions the Sisterhood. All sorceresses of light and the priestesses of Annah goddess of lightning, sorcery and righteous vengeance belong to it and follow rigid codes of behavior. They live to serve and perform all kinds of service from medicine(women's health especially) to alchemy, scientific research and even the culinary arts. In one of the aborted novelizations there was a sorceress character who specialized in food and drink as a sideline for being an alchemist.
