Star Strip page 110

And a switch of scene signaled by the exterior view of the ship. This is the tail end of Jill telling Vera of Da-tu's obtuse views on skin color. Would Jill know about Vera's experiences in Battle of the Robofemoids with this same subject? Did Vera ever tell them about Darth Theda and Doctor Enstine's discussions and that prompting Jill's thoughts that Vera would find this of interest? Well as far as the writer is concerned the answer is yes. This wasn't pulled out of nowhere though it may appear so to first time readers. There actually is a continuity of characterization for Vera from Battle of the Robofemoids to Star Strip.
In case you're wondering Jill's meeting with Vera takes place in one room I have renders for but hadn't been shown since the very beginning of the story. It's the good old transporter room.
The comic has a buffer out to page 118 with a wonderful little tribute to ST:TOS with a scene on board Enterprise. I enjoyed it so much I might have the SIG ladies switch ships if there are any later stories.

Harsh language for harsh words.

Hard to argue with Vera. The little details are what make things... The shadow of Jill's hand on Vera - that is snazzy! :D
