Seeing as DrunkDuck is up and running again I'm happy to upload this next page. I kow it's been a long time since my last page, but I've become a Doctor in the emantime, so I have an excuse. The next page after this on is almost finished and should be up next week.
Who is the rather hunky guy and why is Saphyr obviously rather pissed with him showing up? All will be revealed on the next few pages.
You'll notice that sound effects are creeping into the comic…I still want to use them as sparingly as possible, but I just felt the last panel needed that ‘Smack!!’ to add a bit of oomph.

Thanks! It's not a wash, the shading is done with Faber Castell PITT pens that are a bit like Copic markers and there's a set of six 'shades of grey' that I use. Two of them have a sepia tone and I use those for skin shading and the rest are shades of grey that I use for the backgrounds and clothing etc. The sepia tones might not pop out as much as on this one on some of the other pages because quite frankly it didn't always occur to me to scan the pages in colour rather than greyscale. I think I'll upload one of the next pages in stages...that is, pencils, then line inks, shading, and finally lettering so you can see how a page develops.
