The faces really have a lot of character, but be careful that the line work doesn't get confusing. When I looked at the upper left corner of the page, I wasn't quite sure what I was looking at, or whose hand it is... Is it supposed to be its own panel?
We have been meaning to crop out the edges of the pages. Also will get on shrinking the pages down some. Been just so excited to get this out to people kind of overlooked those things. Keep the comments coming, things will start (hopefully) looking more professional with your help!
okay...I read through the archives....
the pencils are well done and the art, character designs and angles...POVs...well done! the story so far is riveting and intense and love the rendering of the action and the gore...
but...
The poor inking, the font choice for text and the balloons being transparent really takes away from the comic...very distracting. The inking doesn't help the page and it appears...and I hope I am wrong that the original pencilled pages were inked...YIKES!!! no no no...also on every page at the top and bottom is the text for whatever paper material you had used to to draw the pages on...you really need to photoshop those out... I read your comments about the transparency of the word balloons because you don't want to take away from the art...honestly in the places where you put them they are not covering anything of importance...and the comic sans needs to go! there are plenty of fonts on the internet you can download...When I started I used comic sans as well and found out how much people really don't like it.
But the comic has so much going for it and I hope you don't take offense to my comments. I am not trying to be a jerk. Really looking forward to see this develop! =)
I think someone got their heart ripped out by that chick, but I'm not sure - it could just be a wet rock.
Artwork is pretty solid, as per usual, but you may want to consider shrinking the page a bit so people with screen resolutions under 1,000 pix wide won't have to scan sideways to see the page. Your text is large enough to accommodate this shrink.
