St. Augustine believed that we are not free to commit immoral/unethical acts while dreaming, as it is “intent” that is the key to morality and your “dream self” is still your “self”, so it's still you doing the act. As for myself, I'm not so certain (otherwise I'd have to feel awful guilty about some of the dreams I've had *chuckle*). Obviously, with this page, Kimber Lee seems more willing to do push the limits of her ethics while dreaming (“these aren't real people - real stuff”). Is she right to think so? Will there be repercussions? This will be greatly explored in the coming pages – Thanks for reading everyone. And comments (and suggestions on how to make my art better) are always welcome.

haha I'd hate to have to answer for some of my dreams too! Love all the humour on this page btw! XD

Hmm, really interesting in ethical question. My feeling is that you don't need to ethically behave in dreams like you would in real life for the same reason you don't need to behave ethically in computer games like you would in real life - because the brain knows it's quite separate to RL. (I wouldn't hurt a fly IRL but that doesn't stop me playing Bioshock. :)). Of course, some might argue that you should behave in the game as you would IRL - Bioshock, perhaps amongst them. :)

Guess I missed this page somehow...whatever. Great page. I like how you did the last 2 panels. Nice bending of metal in the 1st panel.

Thanks Plymayer :) Gotta admit - it's fun drawing superhuman action. As for ethics in dreaming, seems lots of us feel it matters, even if we logically think it doesn't. If you cheat on a spouse/lover while dreaming, tell them all about it upon waking - in detail. They'll understand - promise }:)

I swore I heard bionic sounds when she tore open that locker in panel two. As to the morality of one's dream self, I have to think on that. I've done things in dreams I never would in real life. "Intent" definitely does play into it....
