Kimber Lee mused about the offscreen character “Sally” way back in page 18. What if you interacted with your dream spouse to the extent you thought they were real? What if you then started thinking your real spouse was a dream? What if you could never tell the difference? Kimber Lee is right to be on guard. How convincing are these ‘dream people’?
Again, this theme is covered beautifully in the movie, ‘Inception’. Thanks for reading, everyone :)

ohhh did she do it I wonder. I really enjoyed Inception but I was hoping we would be treated to some really amazing dream worlds and that never happened so I was a bit disappointed on that side of things. Loved Hans Zimmer's s/track though especially! XD

Really like what you're doing with color here. Like the hints of color rather than full wash.
KimLuster at 1:59PM, April 29, 2013
Thanks IRogue :) I think I'm sticking with color for a while :)

Another great page! I'm just really digging the use of color (the background in the 5th panel, especially).

@cres0055: Ah... cool! I've been in my own world before, and Jackhammers and Trains couldn't rouse me out of it, but a gentle word could. On page 47, a simple word from her Husband pulled Kimber Lee out of one these states. And right now it seems her dream world is acting an awful lot like her real world. She'll come out of this one when she wants, I suppose... or maybe when something else wants her too *wink* @Banes: Hmmmm... I have no life maybe haha. Seriously, I've got a routine going where I can do this for a couple hours each evening while watching Tele or talking with family. I have no doubt I will slow the pace someday, but I'm really enjoying it right now. Thanks :)

I don't know how you do these updates so consistently and fast...excellent! - and a fascinating story.
cres0055 at 7:50PM, April 28, 2013
No, I totally got that, I thought it was pretty obvious. Like how she did that when she should have gone to sleep at the other hospital. My issue was with how do dream people wake her up. Cause that other doctor had to almost touch her to wake her up like happened on page 42.

Thanks a bunch guys :) So... I think I may have failed at something. If you note the last eye (how it gets glazed over) and the text gets smaller, I was supposed to be communicating to you all that Kimber Lee is forcing herself into one of those sensory-fugue states she done in past pages. In such a state, she very well could 'ignore' them all... for a while. Come next page, it will be obvious that's what she did. I'll try to make such clues more obvious in the future.
cres0055 at 2:23PM, April 28, 2013
Great page. I like your choice of pose and expression for Kimber in panels 4 and 5. The 5th panel turned out really well. Interesting that she is going to try to ignore the dream people.
PaulEberhardt at 1:23PM, April 28, 2013
Sometimes, if you try too hard to ignore someone, you'll have to realise you actually do the opposite. Shows that it's a real skill. :)

@plymayer: I never knew there was film adaptions of that book - gotta check it out. Thanks :). @Peipei: I'm not sure what I think either, but I do know that just because you're dreaming doesn't mean you are not also loco :))
Peipei at 9:57AM, April 28, 2013
My gosh, this is a lot to take in. I don't know what you think anymore xD. Is she dreaming, or is Kimber loco?
plymayer at 8:06AM, April 28, 2013
Just finished watching a film called "Lathe of Heaven". Was it you who suggested it? Fine film. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0290230/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

I hope in a good way... ;)

Thought provoking.
