I'd wanna hear what the perv had to say, too, I guess …
I have odd panel shapes on this page. See… I sorta have a vision of how I want the action in the panels to go, then I draw the panels, cut them out, then draw and paint each scene in the cut out panels, then put it all back together for scanning… Well, these panels are not right angles (to convey action) and I sort of accidently drew the scene in one backwards from how I intended, so I had to hack off pieces of it, hastily draw some more to kinda merge it (you can see merge lines to left of big mid panel), Oh well, decent save, I guess.
I also tried to merge a bit of pencil drawing in with the watercolor, and I don't just love the result. I tried even moreso on pages 100-103 with worse results (I'm about 10 pages ahead). Someday I will quit experimenting, I swear :)

I must admit if I thought his death could be that much of an advantage to my life I'd probably just kill him right there in the chair before anything could go wrong.

Well, I did like how this page turned out with the unconventional design I think it works really well. Also great detail and choice of expression for him in the last panel.

Thanks Peipei. I'll stick with the 4-square block layout most of the time, I think, with the occasional 'out there' layout thrown in to mix things up :)

I like this layout a lot. I would switch up my layouts some for DF but I kinda wanted it to look a certain way :S

Thanks so much, Guys :D @plymayer: what you wrote tells to me that I'm communicating across a 'what is real' theme successfully, at least somewhat subtlety... If Kimber Lee's 'dream powers' somehow start working in the 'real' world, and they were the 'totem' (Inception reference) she used to 'know' she was dreaming, how will she ever know which state she is in? Sort of like when Neo (in the Matrix) started being able to control machines mentally outside the Matrix - I've read theories that he was really just on 'another level' of the Matrix... dang! Too many words on single quotes... and my head hurts :)

I love the layout. Vickie over at the Used Books comic often does this sort of thing with good results (http://www.drunkduck.com/Used_Books/). I've tried to use these kind of lay outs from time to time with mixed success. You have pulled it off here. Of course this page is great on so many levels. The action. They emotions on their faces. Much depends on what is happening or what is perceived to be happening. If she's still on some level of a dream it means one thing. If she really is awake and bringing her "dream powers" into the "real" world it means some thing else.
