Well… our couple got over that little crisis pretty quick. Hey, lovemakin' after a conflict (even a mean and hurtful one) isn't an impossible thing *wink wink*… It can be quite cathartic!
.
*warning* next page I tried a new art technique (for one page only), using waterfilled tube brushes, and it turned into a bloody mess…!
.
Thanks for reading, everyone :)

Absence makes the heart grow fonder and abstinence makes the urge grow stronger! ;)

@Peipei: Hahaha yeah he is!
KimLuster at 4:22AM, May 9, 2014
@Banes: Yeah, it's good for both of them to be together, even though one is superhumanish, I think. Although... after watching the latest Spider-man movie... 8|
Peipei at 10:33PM, May 8, 2014
Looks like he's taking the plunge afterall xD heehee :3
Banes at 8:11PM, May 8, 2014
It's so good to see these two are going to stick together. It's a relief! Bit of a tear jerker, this one is. Nicely done! And just in time for things to get tougher again, methinks...

@FC: You don't have black paint at all O_o Wow...!!! And next page... Ehhh... It's not godawful (well maybe it is) but I'll never try that again I can say that much :)
fallopiancrusader at 12:50PM, May 8, 2014
Yeah, for sure the black-outline drawing style is a productivity enhancer. If the lines aren't there to define edges, then it has to be done with light and shadow, which takes a much longer time to do. The downside of having outlines (other than the one you already mentioned) is that the black lines destroy the illusion of space, because the picture plane now reads as a flat surface. I'm so hopelessly old school that I don't even have any tubes of black paint in my paint kit :0 Looking forward to the next page! Experimenting and failing is always better than never experimenting at all!

Dunno that pull out leaves me suspecting they're being watched.

@FC: that's right - you can see his pants around his ankles bottom-middle panel :)) Kimber Lee always was an 'on-top' kind'a gal! And Yeah, I agree about the clouds. In articles I've read (and a watercolor artist I've spoken too), 'pure' watercolorists say you shouldn't do outlines at all (real life don't have outlines!), and some say you should NEVER use black! But... outlines just really help in a webcomic-type media. But I agree about the clouds!
fallopiancrusader at 5:24AM, May 8, 2014
Haha, it looks like she didn't even give Emilio enough time to take his pants off completely! I love her face in panel 3. In panel 4, I think using just the paint to render the clouds, rather than using a black outline, is more successful. It gives a more atmospheric feel to the sky.

@jgib99: For sure! Thanks!

Yeah!! Nothing beats a little make-up sex. Great page

@Plymayer: Thanks! Lots of folks get tatoos they later regret. A 'tramp stamp' is, of course, designed to draw attention to the posterior (no point in denying it) - so it doesn't matter if you can see it yourself haha... The double-diamond symbol is actually an ouroboros (snake devouring its tail) in a figure 8 pattern. Maybe I'll do a closeup of it as a filler someday (if there's interest). An ouroboros is, of course, symbolic for all kinds of things, many of which apply to this story. Kimber Lee got it for partly that reason (the other reasons are she was much younger then, had too much to drink that night...)
plymayer at 8:35PM, May 7, 2014
The artwork gets better and better. Like we are waking up and seeing things clearer.
plymayer at 8:35PM, May 7, 2014
Well that is as it should be - them getting back "together". What does the symbol on the tramp stamp mean? I never understood why someone would want a tattoo somewhere they themselves can't see. Course I've never got a tat. I have designed them for others. And even my daughter has a tattoo (on her ankle).
