@Skyangel: Yeah... Those guys who are prone to fight very quickly if you insult them verbally, besmirch their 'honor', so to speak, and then they'll blame everybody but themselves when things go wrong... Like they were never wrong to fight to begin with - as if it's just something the world should understand and accept about them!

It's such an awkward balance of opinions when events like this take place. I agree with Kimberely in that he pretty much brought the trouble down upon them when he reached for his shotgun so blaming Kimberely for everything that took place after seems unjust for sure. Love the anger in his face in panel four btw, tis scary indeed!! :)

Heavy stuff indeed! It didn't seem too wordy to me; there's a lot going on, but the conflict is so strong, it reads super fast and excitingly. You separate the text up into several bubbles, too; good layout makes it read easy. Love all these opposing points of view...everyone's pov makes sense

@plymayer: Indeed, Saavedra thought, for a while, that Kimber Lee was the best thing to ever come along - then, when destruction came, caused by seemingly incomprehensible things... I'm hoping the psychology involved is realistic! Even so, I do think when people go on and on about the importance of honor, the worst times is when it's supposed to stand out!

They think they have lost everything. They have not. They still have each other. His words are a bit harsh (understandable at the moment) because I kind of thought she was considered part of the extended family. Humans have hard enough time dealing with real problems. Add superpowered problems ...not sure we humands could handle superproblems.

Oh boy...it's gonna be harder than I thought to earn this family's trust again after everything that's happened. I think dad hold's some responsibility for what happened to Socorro too, you can't fight an army with a single firearm afterall!

Great facial expressions. You can really feel what they're saying here. And their fears our warranted. Wait I didn't hear that right, your accent Emilio. Lately at work I've felt like the lone Anglo awash in a sea of Hispanics and at times I do mis-hear things like that. I'll be using that change-up in my next comic fur suy-tin.
