I promise… This chapter… This particular encounter with Giant Evil Baby Eli will come to some sort of resolution…!! And then we'll move into the next stage of this story - still got a good bit of story left! In the meantime, Pooping… Err… Agent Biggs is delivering the unversal sign of contempt and defiance… Inspired by those mouse/eagle images and posters
Thanks for Reading Everyone!

@Banes: Thank You! :D Yes this chapter (and the last) are gonna be horrifying! One of the reasons I went ahead and changed the rating to mature! Was already skirting the edge of the rating and self-censoring was starting to feel... false! I personally feel what I'm doing should still be rated teen but... someone thought otherwise ;) Oh Yeah, and Biggs... I hoped you'd like that! As for his fate - I'll PQ ya!!
Banes at 8:32PM, Sept. 13, 2015
This is horrific - I mean, it's like an all out horror movie right now, and in the best way! I love how this comic can switch between these various genres at different times; it's thrilling! I particularly like the first panel. Great shot of Kimber. A gruesome fate for those infantrymen, and wow! Poopington...uh...Biggs is a BADASS! That panel made me cheer! I love him in this comic!! Here's hoping he doesn't become an after dinner mint...
KimLuster at 7:20PM, Sept. 13, 2015
@Singring: I take 'demented' from you as a BIG Compliment!! :)
KimLuster at 7:19PM, Sept. 13, 2015
@tupapayon: :D Well I do hate when I have typos so please point out if you think you see one - seriously! Please do... :)
Singring at 9:49AM, Sept. 13, 2015
Love it - panel 4 is particularly demented - in a really good way! The hanging eyeball is nice touch ;).
tupapayon at 7:14AM, Sept. 13, 2015
Funny… I was gonna add to my comment that in such situations who really cares about grammar…
KimLuster at 8:04PM, Sept. 12, 2015
@Tupapayon: Well, that's how I intended it - if Kimber Lee thought it grammatically incorrect then so did I ;(
tupapayon at 1:33PM, Sept. 12, 2015
Don't worry… the bigger they are… do I see a typo? First panel, last bubble…
KimLuster at 5:46AM, Sept. 12, 2015
@Skyangel: Thank You! :) Gotta admit I'm having some fun drawing the contorting body from odd angles and perspectives - it's another of the goals I had when starting this comic, to practice that sort of stuff! This'll finish up... someday! But still a long ways to go - you know, like Shakespearean plays till have 2 acts to go after the middle climax act :)
skyangel at 2:27AM, Sept. 12, 2015
I really love how you make the most of the art direction. Panel five on this page is excellent and really gives a nice perspective on Eli's size. I also meant to say how great panel two was on the last page as well when Kimmy's falling towards the 'camera'. This definitely feels like the climax to the whole story and a very worthy one too! Can't wait to see how it all finishes up.

@Barry: hehe Cornea-st pun I ever saw! You are hereby sentenced to 20 lashes :D

@El Cid: Babies are evil vampires ;)
BarryCorbett at 10:28AM, Sept. 11, 2015
He's looking at Kimberly without any eyes. Does that mean he only has eyes for her?
El Cid at 6:39AM, Sept. 11, 2015
He really is almost like a baby playing with his toys. If they're lucky, maybe he'll just get tired and take a nap? (not likely!)
KimLuster at 6:22AM, Sept. 11, 2015
I did not know that..! That would've made for a dramatic scene in this battle... Alas, the opportunity may have passed...! :(
bravo1102 at 5:41AM, Sept. 11, 2015
If you can remember to extend the middle finger you can keep the grip on the handle of the grenade for simple release as you die. Lots of people have done it lots of times. That was the problem with most Axis grenades in WWII. They didn't have that handle to hold as the last gasp trap where when the handle is released *BOOM*
KimLuster at 5:09AM, Sept. 11, 2015
@bravo: Yeah, if only one could keep his head whilst being swallowed! A grenade inside the head (or maybe stomach) might do something interesting! Eli (and Kimber Lee too) clearly have something a bit 'non-biological' bolstering the structure of their muscles and bones, but like a firecracker going off in the palm or a closed fist - which one's gonna hurt more!! :D And yeah, Infantry for the mega-Infant for lunch!!
KimLuster at 5:04AM, Sept. 11, 2015
@Peipei: hehe well you can see just a bit of his 'junk' right beside Biggs' right ear, and on panel 2. I've actually changed the rating to Mature so I'm not against showing the full monty, and likely will at some point!
KimLuster at 5:01AM, Sept. 11, 2015
@plymayer: Thanks! We will slow down again.... someday!
KimLuster at 5:01AM, Sept. 11, 2015
@Sway: Wow thanks! Yeah I'd realized the plot had become rather... intricate, thus my idea to post a 'Story so far...' page a few pages pack for the very purpose of helping readers, new and old, keep it together! And the inception of the Godstrain...? Interesting you say that, because the movie 'Inception' played a large part, along with 'the Matrix', plus a wild concoction of philosophy, religion, and science (incl. speculative science) I've read over the years! I actually have a hard time pinning down the actual genesis of the idea myself! :D
bravo1102 at 3:51AM, Sept. 11, 2015
@Peipei: that's eats INFANTRY for lunch. ;-) Lots of things in war can do that these days.
bravo1102 at 3:50AM, Sept. 11, 2015
And "crunchies" demonstrating another reason for the name. (That's what Armor calls Infantry. From the sound they make when you go over them or in Eli's case the sound they make as he eats them) You'd think some enterprising soul would have saved a few grenades to bring with him on the trip into Eli's mouth. Blow the top of his head off. Might slow him down. It's something that Biggs would do.
Peipei at 12:56AM, Sept. 11, 2015
So he eats soldiers for lunch! Nice conveniently placed head in the second to last panel, I had to say something about it xD xD! It doesn't look like Kim has to do much of anything to get picked up on big boy's radar...
plymayer at 10:17PM, Sept. 10, 2015
Very fast paced and exciting chapter.
Sway at 9:55PM, Sept. 10, 2015
You know, after reading this page I kind of jumped back to the earlier stuff, and it's really fascinating how expansive the plot to this comic has gotten. Like, from the first couple of chapters you'd be hard-pressed to guess that it would eventually feature a giant monster baby eating people. And that's not a criticism; I absolutely love that about the comic. It's so big and broad, and not afraid to get weird. I'd be really fascinated to hear what the inception behind The Godstrain was. Like, what the influences behind it were. Because it seems to pull from a lot of big concepts, but also some really modern pulpy stuff as well. And it all comes together really strongly.
