There's this wonderful wacky graphic novel I read recently, call Moonshadow, about a young man's misadventures throughout the cosmos. Despite the zaniness, the story has a poignant, often tear-jerking flow throughout… It also has this alien race, known as the G'L-Doses, a “powerful, mysterious alien race of beings ruled largely by whim.” I might say their appearance has some inspiration for the initial appearance of the Godstrain manifestation here! :)
Sidenote: The Moonshadow story also has this major supporting character, called Ira - he's an utterly contemptible ass-hat, but there's something good deep inside him Moonshadow sees (or maybe Moonshadow is blind haha). Ira looks an awful lot like Banes' avatar! Coincidence? I think not (haha)
Anyway, the Godstrain Manifestation doesn't keep the smily-face shape for long. The Jesus Shape I'm not too happy with, but the two Goddesses at the bottom make me pretty pleased!! Can anyone guess which two Goddesses these are?!! (astute googlers can find images I used to model for these)
Thanks for Reading Everyone!!

@tupapayon: for some reason I couldn't get your link to work! But I'm sure it was a good one as always!

@ashtreeL: Thanks! Now I wish I'd give the big smiley....harrrr... More Face Time!! :D
KimLuster at 4:45PM, July 26, 2016
@El Cid: I'm a bit surprised the Big Round Face is such a hit!! I thought the Goddesses might be, if anything would!! But I'm good either way!! And I shoulda had a little explanatory blurb at the bottom *speaking in a Morgan Freeman voice*

@Tom: Thanks! I think...

@ghosty: :D

@Banes: Thank You!! Moonshadow is certainly an Odd story but I think you'd like it - Ira is unforgettable!! About the Emoji head - I did toy around with the idea of it Manifesting as a Email or Forum Post, but decided that was lame! :D

Isis and Kali. Not Kwannon/Quan-yin? How about Astarte ; merciful but also kick-ass and the primordial model for both Isis and Kali? All deities have so many faces that are all still the same. Might as well go with the emoji, which ,it can be argued, is merely a later day image of a sun deity.

I agree with El Cid, the face is creepy. The two on the last panel are sweet though, I love how you created all these different dieties!
El Cid at 12:22PM, July 26, 2016
I actually find the emoji face to be most disturbing! You gotta wonder, when it smiles, is it really smiling, or is more like a dolphin's face -- it's just stuck that way? Not the most warm and reassuring of expressions, at any rate. And definitely NOT Morgan Freeman!

That big face is the most unsettling thing I've seen today.

O.o

WOW! This page! Love the emoji visage the most. Dug the Goddesses too; I knew Kali, but not Isis. Fantastic! I instantly thought the emoji version should end his coming revelations/instructions/whatever It's going to reveal with the exhortation "Have a Nice Day"

Ah, yes! I remember you mentioned Moonshadow before. I gotta read that one. Looks really cool. I definitely saw the covers in comic stores way back, including the Ira character. Must've been an influence on my years-later avatar...

@plymayer: I'm one of the rare ones that didn't really like Pac-Man!! :D Yeah it was fun "doin' the deities"!! Wait till you see next page!! :D

@FC: *Ding! Ding!* Correct guess on the Goddesses!! Impressive!! And LOL at the Raisin Bran Sun - Serendipity strikes again!!
KimLuster at 6:55AM, July 26, 2016
@Paul: Ya it's a whimsical thing!! And now that you mention it, this is very reminiscent of ST-5!! Serendipity at work!!
plymayer at 6:13AM, July 26, 2016
You must have fun with the research for these "god-like" images.
plymayer at 6:12AM, July 26, 2016
Didn't think of Pacman. I'm slipping. Did think of the smiley.. Many wonderful images to choose from. Perhaps the GS can skip the BS and show her it's true form?
fallopiancrusader at 5:53AM, July 26, 2016
And it's the Godstrain in person! Coming to you straight from the front of a box of Raisin Bran cereal! Too funny! Great renditions of the goddesses! I am guessing that they are Isis and Kali
PaulEberhardt at 5:02AM, July 26, 2016
One thing is clear: the Godstrain seems to have a sense of humour. It doesn't make it any less threatening, but somehow I can't help liking it all the same. ;) The whole scene reminds me a bit of Star Trek V, but I can see it has a decidedly different and unique angle. Great stuff!
