Kimber Lee is all about diversity! She beat up Latino Gangstas on pages 16 and 17, white Hillbillies on page 128, and now an African-American would-be cutpurse (all while brooding as only Kimber Lee can…)!! Get some Asians and Native-Americans and the Cabinet is full!
I wish I'd included a few bystanders in the streets - looks way too bare for a realistic city… I won't wimp out next time!!

This reminds me of an incident that happened with my girl friend. It wasn't exactly this epic but it was impressive to say the least. She chased down her phone thief on foot and when he ran in to a nearby department store, she called out to people in the isles that they needed to tell her 'boyfriend' (phone robber) to stop running and wait for her. When they all approached him and blocked his way, she tackled him to the ground and got her phone back xD Twas an awesome sight.

Lol, love the signs at the end in the store window. Seems as if Kimber is really walking a fine line, here. :/ I hope she manages to hang on to that humanity, or else she risks becoming the thing she destroyed.

@Banes: Thank You! Orange ain't the New Black (makes a good 'safe word' though... ;))... Timely vs Timeless: that would be the subject of a good article! Technology is the big wrench in the gears!! I watch older sitcoms sometimes and note how probably 50% of the hilarious plot hooks wouldn't work if they'd had cell phones or social media...!!

ha! I love that action going on as she broods! Awesome forshortening in the third panel, too. And the signs at the end, there - haha. Just a subtle reference to the times we're in right now (but won't trap the page in a specific time when someone reads this in a year or five). I missed two pages somehow - the previous page was a beautiful/painful moment, by the way.
