Whew!! Got my PC back up!! The problem was a plastic brace holding the fan that cools the processor… It Broke!! (not sure why - I only threw the PC against the wall once…) But a little wire (twisted to tighten it) is doing the job of holding it in place until I can order a replacement… Yay Me!!
Okay… This Page!! El Cid sorta forebodingly said he feared all the soldiers might be just for fodder… Prophet maybe…? But stick around…! And Look at all those weird folks…! Has the Godstrain went from the surreal to the insane?!!
I think it'll make more sense in a few pages ;)
Thanks for Reading Everyone!

Thanks Jerrie!!

Nasty! The colonel will have to take some time off to get all the paperwork done... Cool jump effects, by the way. Glad to hear your computer is up and running again. I know how I'm always in cold sweat when this kind of thing happens (e.g. two days before finishing my Bachelor thesis a couple of years ago). That old blighter is mainly held together by gaffer tape these days, but it still does its job.

Thank You, and Yep, gonna be hard to bury all this... It does seem like things like crashes know to happen at the most inconvenient times!!
ghostrunner at 10:04AM, Feb. 7, 2017
how do you swear when you're a god?
KimLuster at 3:05PM, Feb. 7, 2017
because not a god with a big 'G'...?!
Whirlwynd at 9:19AM, Feb. 7, 2017
It'd only be really surreal if "everybody was kung-fu fighting" was playing in the background
KimLuster at 3:05PM, Feb. 7, 2017
There is! I just can't figure out how to attach a wav file to my comic! :D
Banes at 8:53AM, Feb. 7, 2017
Hmmm...well my guess would be that these weird folks are mutated as a result of Eli's "gift" interacting with their own dreams/fantasies/subconscious self images, and changing them as a result. Damn, I love this comic - it goes from sci fi to a touch of horror to drama to all-out superhero slugfest! Excelsior!
KimLuster at 3:04PM, Feb. 7, 2017
I like the way you think!! Truly, I wish you could pick more than one genre for your comic - sci fi seemed the closest fit, but not the perfect fit...

This looks like it's going to be one hell of a party! It's always great to see someone bouncing across the rooftops too! :) Tha last panel is really awesome and I've only just finished a very similar fight panel myself so it makes me appreciate how much planning has to go into the layout as the poses of the foreground figures do take up so much room that they pretty much rule what action you can show going on behind. You've really made good uses of those spaces to capture the chaos perfectly.
KimLuster at 5:04AM, Feb. 7, 2017
I so cannot wait to see your fight scene! You synopsis is spot on!!!
El Cid at 12:42AM, Feb. 7, 2017
They appear to be encountering some resistance.
KimLuster at 5:03AM, Feb. 7, 2017
It's just a protest - The Godstrain-infected have rights too...!
Peipei at 12:14AM, Feb. 7, 2017
It's like a zombie apocalypse, but probably worse because zombies are usually kind of slow. These guys though? They're like droided up soldiers!
KimLuster at 5:02AM, Feb. 7, 2017
Yeah, and I just saw the lated Resident Evil movie...!
plymayer at 11:52PM, Feb. 6, 2017
One day of paintball convinced my infantry was not for me.
KimLuster at 5:01AM, Feb. 7, 2017
They really should get page more ;)
bravo1102 at 10:45PM, Feb. 6, 2017
Special forces when they should have sent in armor. Blackhawk Down ring a bell? They didn't have the assets available in Somalia, what will be this colonel's excuse at his court martial? Is there a forward air controller around to call in an air strike?
KimLuster at 6:08AM, Feb. 7, 2017
Gotcha... but also, on page 343, lower left panel, colonely does mention 'a contingency plan' - I think you'll like it...!
bravo1102 at 5:17AM, Feb. 7, 2017
Nah, it's just the typical arrogance of light infantry types. They think quiet insertion and moving fast is the answer to everything. If you anticipate heavy resistance, you send in heavy stuff. Some Strykers or Bradleys would have been the way to go but the Colonel has crossed rifles on his collar and airborne wings not crossed sabers or cannon barrels. At the very least there should be some airmobile support troops standing by just in case. You send in a probe you have to anticipate the worst case scenario and these guys haven't been doing that. It's not the fault of the writer, real life military types do this all the time and they really should know better.
KimLuster at 5:00AM, Feb. 7, 2017
@bravo: haha well, I like to think any major mistakes 'The Colonel' makes is because the author doesn't know enough about tactics... But I'm still not sure I made a mistake here...! On page 358, this is thought of as a probe/recon mission with the potential to turn combative. Back on page 283, the Colonel talks about how they've already tried to hit him with everything short of a nuke, to no avail. Colonel's theory that Kimber Lee's presence will weaken Eli (detailed on page 291) hasn't been battle tested - this was supposed to be the Battle Test! The hope was the weapons they did bring would be affective provided Kimber Lee was engaged with Eli at the same time... But... If I gotta explain all this in the comment section probably means the rationale didn't work in the main story eh...? Oh well ;)
