If anyone recalls from a few pages back, Kimber Lee learned she could project mental ‘stuff’ into someone else when she gave lovely Bartender Belle a Godstrain-gasm!! She said she'd make sure to remember that skill, and so she has…
So it's sort of a Chekhov's Skill!!
I'm not super happy with my action scenes the first two panels, but then, this fight probably has gone very different than most expected (a giant city-destroying battle seemed more likely…), but Kimber Lee has other ideas…!!
Still, it ain't over yet!!
Barring something crazy, the next page should post this coming Friday!
Thanks for Reading Everyone

Haha It's nice to see Eli getting a taste of what it's like to suffer the after effects of abuse along with her. I wish it was enough to stop him but I very much doubt it will.

Genius! With the benefit of hindsight it seems so obvious, and that's what makes it genius. One or two pages back, when I was catching up, I thought for a moment it might become a "The Sword in the Stone"-like transformation duel. With regards to its outcome it kind of is, but much more subtle and cleverer. Still, it's not over yet, even if Kim now has the advantage of having been herself for many more years than he has. If that makes any sense. Love it!

Wow! Thanks!! :D That's some high praise!! Yes, it's not over yet (and with someone like Eli it might not even do that much good... or maybe it will...)!! Next page is posting Tomorrow!!

We don't like light shining into our dark closets!!

I think it's time or Eli to start taking some personal accountability for all the pain and suffering he's caused. I'd like to think he's being genuine here, but it could also be the makings of a set up as well! We'll just have to find out!
KimLuster at 4:45AM, May 9, 2017
We'll find out Friday!! ;)
bravo1102 at 1:54AM, May 8, 2017
Victimization? Eli will now become the biggest victim evah! Blame everyone but himself! Sue the government for everything they've done to him! I see millions in his future. And there's that bosomy bartender again. Someone should do a comic about her.
KimLuster at 6:35PM, May 8, 2017
And yeah a comic about her would be nice! If only someone...;)
KimLuster at 5:03AM, May 8, 2017
In this era of no personal responsibility, you're probably right!! Royalties... Err... The check is in the mail!! ;)
bravo1102 at 1:54AM, May 8, 2017
Is it too late to ask for royalties? ;)
plymayer at 10:09PM, May 7, 2017
Might make him a little upset but he's a bad guy doing bad things. He'll blame it all on her some how. These jerks always find a way to blame the victim.
KimLuster at 5:04AM, May 8, 2017
Very interested in what you think next page!! :D
plymayer at 10:09PM, May 7, 2017
Staples. Wonder what's in this week's advert?
KimLuster at 5:04AM, May 8, 2017
A local mom-n-pop store has been hitting me up...!
Avart at 12:14PM, May 7, 2017
Hahahah "Godstrain-gasm" :D This is the begining of the end for Eli, I think this is one of the worst punishment for a villian... feel the pain and suffering of its victims.
KimLuster at 3:44PM, May 7, 2017
Godstain-gasms!! Better than stuff that requires batteries!! I think we all wish the Villain could see/experience the pain he causes - Kimber Lee can make it happen!! Will it accomplish anything, though...?
El Cid at 11:29AM, May 7, 2017
I can see the train of thought that, seeing all that Kim has, Eli will realize the error of his ways and capitulate... but then again, he's not her so he could take an entirely different viewpoint on it all. A risky tactic indeed!
KimLuster at 3:42PM, May 7, 2017
Well, you'll see Eli's reaction this coming Friday ;) And yes, this whole gambit (making a unilateral decision to take on him alone) was pretty risky, but I hope some clarity will there too...
Banes at 11:12AM, May 7, 2017
Nicely done! That Chekhov's skill was cleverly buried in the scene with Belle. wow - the mind boggles at what will happen to a villain who experiences their victim's point of view. Purty pitchers, too! I like the 'Staples' in the background...a regular stop for many comic creators, surely...
KimLuster at 3:40PM, May 7, 2017
Thank You!! I've read most of the Walking Dead series, and *spoilers* Rick comes close to making Negan see the destruction and awfulness he caused - a powerful scene!! And oh yeah, where would some of us be without Staples
SteveNance at 8:18AM, May 7, 2017
Some webcomic artists tend to apologize to their readers for posting pages that are more dialogue and ideas than "action." And I love a good action sequence, but -- seriously, would we be here if we were just looking for cheap thrills? It's been enjoyable watching the development of your ideas as well as your growing mastery of your craft. I knew you had something more interesting in mind than a giant city-destroying final battle, and this is a neat twist!
KimLuster at 3:38PM, May 7, 2017
Why thank you Steve!! I really should stop apologizing shouldn't I? I had a story to tell, and it has to play out how I (and Kimber Lee) sees it. I conceived this scene a long time ago and, to me, the next pages just seemed more what should happen (for the record, I do love doing action pages, with crazy contorting poses...)
