This page hints at a few things that will remain lingering once the Godstrain ends. Perhaps they'll be addressed… someday… by someone… ;)
I understand *har* that Call Me Tom is resurrecting ‘The Understanding’! He was so gracious to allow me to use ‘The Bogeyman’ in the Godstrain, and he hereby has permission to use anything from my story in any way he wishes, ‘officially or unofficially’. That's an offer I've made to just about all of you, I think… and that still stands!! Just ask me first, if you don't mind, and please, nothing you'd try to make money off of. Someday I might wanna attempt something like that with these characters myself…
So, these ‘energy tendrils’ Kimber Lee speaks of; they've appeared in the story many times. When we first saw them, there were four…
I've hinted (or made it pretty obvious) that they represented the connections that the ‘Godstrain infected’ have with each other. The mysterious fourth one Kimber Lee is referring to I sorta hinted at when I made my Four of Diamonds card for Call Me Tom's project:
Should I do a Godstrain II, the mysterious Fourth would play a MAJOR part. I've given several hints in the current story as to the Identity of the Fourth - feel free to try to guess!! :D Whether I do a Godstrain II or not, I think I may do a couple page Epilogue, revealing the Fourth, and perhaps act as a Teaser for a sequel… but I'm a long way from there…!!
In the meantime, Kimber Lee and Socorro still have some Loose Ends to deal with…!!
I can say now that the Godstrain is finished! All pages are done, and they will all absolutely be posted by the end of July, so, you know… when you vote… for that ‘completed comic’ category… hehe *wink*
The next page should post June 30th, or maybe a little earlier. I may post slight faster to get all the pages in, but don't think I'll have to - so probably one every five days until they're done!

hehe Yeah... well, everyone in my story is long-winded!! (I blame the author!) When a neck-snap would probably solve everything quicker!!

But the whole thing about quantum probability is that anything, no matter how improbable, can happen. So Bogeyman could turn himself invisible or teleport if it's the rules of the quantum microverse made macro. If you are working on stuff at the atomic and subatomic level you could manifest all kinds of magical effects that if someone else doesn't know specifically what to look for they just will not find. I've been wrestling with this for years as the system of magic in my fantasy stories. Invisibility could be as simple as convincing the observer that you're not there.

I agree with you totally... in fact, back on page 295, Jack Caleb hints that he has learned to be unseen in exactly the way you describe, in a similar way that Socorro could make men 'fawn for her' beyond what her physical beauty would warrant (which, admittedly, is pretty high). However... I think Kimber Lee, despite everything she's seen and done, just doesn't want to accept that 'anything' is possible - I think that's a limitation of the human mind... But, should she start to become less human... ;) Anyway... a story for another day!!
