If anyone can figure out the other comics that inspired the final panel, bonus points for you. I totally ripped the idea from one comic and the style of the art from another. >_> But I kinda like how it came out… it's a good transition.
I love how Nadre ruffles his hair in the first panel. Lol.

Ironscarf: Don't tell anyone but I did the closeup just to save time… it's faster for me to draw portraits than full body shorts. And even faster to draw partial portaits. Now you know my secret. >_> If I was really pressed for time, there'll be EYEBALL closeups. >.> Okay, okay, I also do those because I'm good at drawing eyes. /ego. I ought to start working on it harder, though… the art's sort of actually degrading. Whoops. Glad you like the backgrounds!

Well, kind of reminds me of Fires by Matotti, but it won't be that. Don't say it's faster, say it's for dramatic effect! I found the top two panels here very effective - they put communicate so much that's not in the text.
