learn to troubleshoot before calling the repair man. you know how many times i "fixed" a computer when all it was the Ethernet cable was not connected or the computer power cable came lose when the moved it when they install a new printer?

@UltimateZ - ha! This was partly inspired by the overpriced tradespeople I've dealt with...actually though, I've called a plumber on two occasions where all that was needed was to tighten one nut. Oy, embarrassing. My plumber is s cool guy...he charged nothing for these calls, though I insisted he take some cash.

@bravo - I can't say I've ever tried to get a TV repairman to come to the house! Not counting the cable company people, that is. Haha...the faux sex comment. My thought upon reading that was "friend or faux?". .....apropos of nothing...it just popped into my head. :-/
