Swimsuit S-b-S: base colors

This image(1st of three) is for the Beauty Contest that was on the front page newspost a little while ago.
So, back to this image. I don't think I like the top. I guess I'll be changing the colors in the next draft, so I'll be taking suggestions on that.
The o-rings were a nice idea, but I don't think I pulled them off very well, that'll be in the suggestion box for the next draft as well, so please comment to help me out. Everytime I look for stck as reference, hours are lost.
I like the star.

aldfhjkal;dsajhfhkdj!!! Stop toying with us and write a plotline! Oh yeah, and the top clashes and doesn't bend right. It looks like a paper doll's clothes, you know?

It's not that the top is bad, the colour. It doesn't suit her, also it clashes with the black and pink. You go from a bright colour to black and white and then pink, it just seems that it doesn't transtion well. I'm not sure what would be good, play with the swirling ribbon type patern? you know what I alwasy though kind of looked like swimsuits, tutus. I know that doesn't help^^"
