eldritch

meaning “unnatural, spoooky, alien, weird.”
I read a lot of Lovecraft, so that word has always stuck with me.

I don't think I'm allowed to say it. So, lets just say it's a F-word that rhymes with duck.

FXUCK?

Has anyone mentioned this one yet?

EDIT: I see KingOfSnake did, but he missed the spelling, which isn't surprising.

My favorite four letter word that starts with the letter “f” is “food.”

My second favorite four letter word that starts with the letter “f” is “free.”

…but not always in that order.

It's the one word I use the most each day, mainly because it's so versatile.

Vimpel.

It's the Swedish word for those little triangular flags that you usually get several of on a string. Also, it's used for those tiny paper flags that are sometimes stuck on the ends of toothpicks. Here; have a picture of one: http://www.holyriders.org/images6/vimpel.jpg (this particular picture picked because the mental image of Christian bikers amuses me).

I have lots of favourite words, because I tend to get stuck on a particular word (I like the sound of them), but vimpel is the perennial favourite.
